My Ideal Encounter: Mahabharata Characters I Would Love to Meet

Delving deep into the rich Mahabharata, one could easily find themselves wanting to meet the numerous characters who each bring their own unique tale of wisdom, valor, and determination. In this article, we will explore my personal list of characters I would most like to meet and why. Let's embark on this intriguing journey.

The Majestic Trinity

Shri Krishna takes precedence as the Lord Himself. If I could encounter anyone, it would be Him. Simply seeing Shri Krishna would be a life-changing experience, bringing both spiritual and attain spiritual salvation. If I were lucky enough to converse with Him, I would then have no wish to meet anyone else. Nevertheless, I must name three more:

Anchored in the Divine

Arjuna ranks as my favorite character after Lord Krishna. While Karna might not be as popular, Arjuna's spiritual depth and prowess in warriorship make him an admirable hero. He learned the Bhagavad Gita directly from the Lord, thus becoming a revered Nara (a great spirit) - a name befitting his authenticity and nobility. His internal strength and resilience are what draw me to him.

A Pillar of Wisdom and Valor

Bhishma Pitamah is another character of immense wisdom and valor. As the eldest among the Pandavas, his deep knowledge of the Mahabharata and exemplary virtues are hard to overlook. His unwavering willpower and profound devotion are what both inspire and impress me. His valour and chivalry are truly commendable.

The Controversial Choice

If asked to name the fourth character, I would venture to say Duryodhana. This choice might be unconventional, as Duryodhana is often portrayed as evil in the texts. However, I would love to see him and hear his perspective on the events of the Mahabharata, particularly to better understand the actions of other characters from his point of view. Meeting him would provide a unique and insightful perspective that can help shape my own opinions.

An Encounter with Arjuna: Questions and Curiosity

h?n c?, I would love to conduct a thought-provoking conversation with Arjuna. Arjuna is a multifaceted character, and I have countless questions:

Focused Goal Achievement: How did you manage to stay so focused on your goals, especially during a time when distractions are abundant? Skill and Learning: How did you manage to acquire so many skills in such a short period of time? Forgiveness and Spirituality: You seemed to forgive others even before hearing the Bhagavad Gita. What guided you in this aspect? Challenges and Triumphs: Moving beyond the traditional narrative, what made you transform obstacles into stepping stones for self-improvement? Roles and Responsibilities: How did you manage to play all your roles (son, brother, friend, father, husband, teacher, student) effortlessly? Innate Fearlessness: Your presence alone was terrifying to your enemies. Can you share what that feeling was like and how you managed it? Enemies and Supporters: With all the hating you faced, what would you like to tell your detractors?

I could continue to bombard him with questions, but alas, it is simply not possible to meet him in the real world. Nonetheless, these questions highlight the depth and complexity of Arjuna's character and his ability to navigate both the spiritual and the practical aspects of life.

Conclusion:

Though my choices for ideal encounters may differ from others, I hope my list has provided a fresh perspective on the diverse and layered characters of the Mahabharata. The enduring legacy of this epic continues to inspire us with its lessons in heroism, spirituality, and human psychology.
