Have You Ever Dreamt of God? What Was He Like?

I've seen Jesus multiple times in dreams, but He's usually looked different. If you type in 'Akiene Jesus face', you'll find a picture of the man I saw. However, I cannot post a picture here.

Divine Encounters and Spiritual Guidance

God does not typically show Himself to you in your dreams; instead, divine beings such as angels or demons may appear if you are spiritually inclined enough to receive a message. My friend met God and a few angels, but when it comes to God specifically, the experience was the feeling of infinite love. He couldn’t describe what He looked like, and the experience itself is something you must go through to understand it fully.

Another friend has had encounters with demons, but the experience with God was different. He felt a tremendous feeling of love, and the whole experience was something that only he could have gone through to really comprehend.

I wish I had had such experiences, but I don't. I don't judge anyone, whether they claim to have had these experiences or not. It could be unbelievable, but most of my prayers have been answered, which I consider a miracle. I can’t imagine a better experience.

The Power of Prayer and Connecting with the Creator

I always encourage people to pray or talk to the Creator, especially after finishing a sentence. Even if it's off-topic, it's worth trying. One can pray to Jehovah, imagining the Almighty God and asking for help and guidance, just as one would ask a parent. If He can create the Sun, your problem is really not much. Keep asking in the right way and with love, and you'll be surprised.

Exploring Mystical Experiences and Dreams

The truth is, you're seeing God everywhere when you're awake but don't realize it. During dreams, it's your mind that recollects the images already registered in your brain. The images of the God that appear in dreams are nothing but your imaginations.

Significant reports of people experiencing various deities exist, with accounts going back to ancient times. If you consider these reports to be about real beings, there is never any evidence. Similarly, if you believe that all the mystics who reported these experiences were lying, there is almost never any evidence for that belief. What we have are open nonsense like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which has nothing to do with mystical experiences and only insults those who repeat it.

People have experienced deities in dreams and waking states. For example, Odin appeared to me and told me to follow. I spent a year pondering this dream and eventually decided to convert to Asatru. I've been Asatru for 36 years now, and it has significantly influenced my life. My most vivid and surprising deity dream was when Odin appeared and told me to follow, which occurred in late 1986 or early 1987.

I've had dreams of various gods and goddesses, mostly from the same pantheon as Odin, including Thor. Every morning, I share my coffee experience with Thor, and sometimes he appears during my dreams. About half of my dreams featuring deities involve walking with Thor. I have no idea why I dream of deities so frequently, but as long as I treat these experiences as dreams, the standard problems don't arise.

Whether you dream of deities or not, remember that everyone dreams even dogs and cats. If you don't remember your dreams, I hope you make an effort to recall them. Deities and spirits may appear in your dreams, and these experiences can be incredibly meaningful.
